Teeth Grinding (Bruxism) 
            Teeth grinding, or bruxism, occurs when the upper and lower teeth are grinding  or rubbing against each other in a sideways motion. A person may unconsciously clench their teeth when they're awake (awake bruxism) or clench or grind them during sleep (sleep bruxism). This happens unknowingly. 
           
 Some signs and symptoms of bruxism:
            
              - Teeth grinding at night which may be quite loud
- Worn tooth enamel
- Increased tooth pain or sensitivity
- Jaw, neck or face pain or soreness
- Dull headaches
- Tired or sore jaw muscles or a locked jaw
- Damage on the inside of the cheek due to chewing
