Tooth Care Back

Brushing
In order to maintain good teeth and gum health, a combination of home care and regular dental visits are necessary. Home care includes properly brushing teeth, and if possible, brushing after every meal. At minimum, teeth need to be brushed once a day and always before going to bed.

Flossing
Flossing is important because it cleans where a toothbrush cannot reach. Flossing helps prevent gum disease and aids in the removal of plaque build-up. Performed at least once a day, flossing can aid in the prevention of tartar build-up, which can only be removed with a dental cleaning.
